Most businesses run payroll biweekly (quincenalmente) — on the 15th and last day of each month. Some run weekly or monthly depending on the employment contract. All payroll cycles require CFDI nómina within 3 days of payment.

IMSS is Mexico's social security institute covering health, disability, and retirement. Employer contributions range from approximately 25% to 35% of the employee's integrated daily wage depending on salary and risk category. We calculate exact contributions monthly.

CFDI nómina is a digital payslip that must be issued to every employee for every payroll period via the SAT system. Without valid CFDI nómina, wages paid are not deductible as a business expense, and SAT can reclassify them as taxable dividends.
